The Scheduled Appointment is a consultation with prior appointment that aims to respond to the needs of the user in the scope of nursing, such as health promotion consultations. In the particular case of surveillance appointments for diabetic patients and patients with hypertension, procedures are carried out for these two pathologies with the aim of monitoring the patient’s condition and detecting any possible complications early on.
– This is not an emergency consultation.
– They can be scheduled on the patient’s own initiative.
It is done in the following two modalities: Child health nursing consultation with or without medical consultation.
Objectives:
The Newborn Metabolic Screening is performed preferably between the 4th and the 7th day of the child’s life.
Consultation held prior to the medical consultation of pregnant women with the aim of evaluating them.
Consultation for all women of childbearing age where family planning care is provided, including, but not limited to, contraceptive education and provision.
Consultation for procedures such as vaccination, wound care (dressings) and administration of injectable medication, including vaccines under the National Vaccination Plan.
Home consultations are reserved for dependent users or those without physical conditions to come to the USF.
